Specifically, Fifi’s Friends Rescue at LDF has been formed as refuge and haven for broken, lost, surrendered, found, doomed-to-die dogs, who are transformed into beautiful and healthy souls, who for often for the first time ever, learn what it is to just – be a dog, and all the love-lavishin’, funny, sweet, playful, charming, and loyal kinship that comes along with it!! 
Once a dog reaches LDF, they are indeed safe. They are fostered here or sometimes in a foster home, and vetted to be put up for adoption. Some of our dogs are transported to no kill rescues in the North.
