Before we can focus on kennels, we have to take care of one of the most pressing problem that needs to be addressed:
PRIORITY: Worsening flood / water retention crisis ~ causing structural and operational issues.
SOLUTION: Most cost-efficient fix is to dig out existing bank and add a retain wall, French drain and leveling gravel.
REALITY: The critical improvement is estimated to cost $5160. Current donations only cover day-to-day costs. ALL money raised will be reserved solely for this project.
RESULT: Reclaim unusable kennel space to include outdoor access for dogs and workable space for caregivers. This will enable increased intake and operation efficiency.
NEXT STEPS: Remedied flooding allows future donations to be focused on building additional kennels, paying down the Care Credit account and building an operational emergency fund.
