Adoption Process

Step one is to submit an Adoption Application (please include current Veterinary information in the application). If that looks good the next step is a meeting between the possible new owners and their new best friend. If that goes well you can fill out a Foster Agreement and foster for a few days to see if you and the dog will be happy or skip to the last step which is the adoption contract. The adoption fee is $100 at this time. All the dogs at the rescue are UTD on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on prevention medication.

Blake

Bake is a 3 year old white German shepherd looking for his forever home. His owner died and he went from being an indoor dog to being chained outside for over a year until we were able to finally get him. He is amazing, he is wonderful absolutely loving boy. Blake needs a home with a fenced yard, no tie outs and no containment other than the yard. Blake has made friends with all dogs here on the farm. He absolutely loves to play fetch and play with toys. He loads right up and is ready for adventures.

Batman/Ollie

Batman is a big, loveable, one eyed boy that so wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained and great in the house, he’s fine with all the other dogs , and there’s a lot of them, at times he does some resource guarding but it’s more an intimidation thing, he doesn’t actually hurt anyone. Any dog that can live here with such a big pack and be fine with all the dogs, that’s a special dog, and I feel that Batman is that, he just needs the right home. He is protective of his people inside his home as well, which isn’t a bad thing, just needs to be known and handled appropriately as far as introductions

Kayden

Meet Kayden an almost 3 year old lab mix that weighs 55lbs . Kayden is everything good wrapped up in an adorable package. He has been great with the other dogs. This boy loves to snuggle and be with his people. Kayden absolutely loves loves loves to play with toys. Want to go walking? Want to go running? This boy right here is up for an adventure you want to go on. On top of all that, he is crate and housebroken as well.

Shep

Meet Shep!!!! 3 year old foxhound whose family decided they didn’t want him anymore because he chewed up something in the house. They were actually calling around to different Vet offices trying to find one that would euthanize him. No Vet was willing to euthanize a perfectly healthy dog that has never shown any kind of aggression ever. Thankfully Ashboro Animal Hospital stepped in and convinced them to surrender Shep to them. They put him in boarding and started trying to find a rescue for him. They were striking out because all rescues are overfilled. Thank goodness they said they would board him for a few weeks till we had an opening for him. We cannot thank the enough for saving his life. He is completely vetted, sweet as can be, housebroken, great on a leash, I could go on and on listing all this boy’s attributes. Have you looked at his gorgeous eyes. He is a true southern gentleman. He needs to lose a little bit up weight, but that’s an easy fix
