Adoption Process
Step one is to submit an Adoption Application (please include current Veterinary information in the application). If that looks good the next step is a meeting between the possible new owners and their new best friend. If that goes well you can fill out a Foster Agreement and foster for a few days to see if you and the dog will be happy or skip to the last step which is the adoption contract. The adoption fee is $100 at this time. All the dogs at the rescue are UTD on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on prevention medication.

Walter
This is Walter, he’s about 10 years old . Walter is neutered and UTD on shots and HW negative, he loves food, loves love and attention , he rides well, he’s crate trained and house trained. Walter is good with other dogs as long as they don’t get in his face acting all Alpha. He will stand up for himself if so. Usually when he comes inside he finds a crate with a nice soft blanket in it and he goes in and curls up. He has a huge appreciation for soft, warm beds, food, and love. He is a great dog and will make someone a great companion.

Tucker
Tucker is so handsome and so amazing that I sent him up north to a home, only to find out he does not like teenagers. Boys or girls. Go figure. Lol. He’s great with all the dogs and he loves to play with them, and they are drawn to him, especially the smaller ones as you can see from the pics. He’s super sweet with me and he’s crate trained to the max and that’s where he prefers to lay here even when he doesn’t have to, in an open crate. (Probably not as many choices here as in a “normal” home. This is a really good dog except for the bizarre teenager thing , and we have no idea why or what happened. He is better with women than men but he will warm up to me.

Katie
Katie came from a shelter in the eastern part of the state when her time was up. She’s super smart and she’s good with all the dogs and loves to play and wrestle with them on the bed. She’s housebroken and crate trained and loves attention from her humans. She’s got a calm demeanor. She’s basically a couch/bed potato but she enjoyed running out in the big yard, she rides well in the car and not bad on leash either.

Ice
Ice, Ice Baby is about a one year old and neutered male. He is as cool as his name and loves to play with other dogs. Ice has lots of energy and loves to be loved on and share his big warm heart with others. Ice is crate trained and would love to have some toys to call his own. He is a snuggler in bed and loves car rides. He is awaiting for his forever home and is making new friends while in the rescue. Come check out this Ice cube and let him melt your heart! https://fb.watch/eBToiUEAQj/

Twix
Twix is an adorable girl that is crate trained, housebroken, good with the other dogs, loves to play, loves toys, loves human attention and even with her small size, she can’t jump.

Spunky
Spunky is a spayed and housebroken senior female Boxer mix, who is a young girl at heart. She is a very affectionate and friendly girl and hopes to spend her retirement playing with her favorite squeaky toy, getting lots of belly rubs, and going on walks with her humans. Spunky is a healthy girl and is up to date on all vaccines and prevention medication. She does well on a leash, loves pup cups, and attention from kids. Please note that spunky prefers a home without other dogs and cats. https://fb.watch/eBSqLuPQas/

Rocco
Rocco is a very loving dog that can’t seem to get close enough to his person. He is fully vetted and weighs about 80 lbs. Rocco is good in the house, housebroken, crate trained, loves to ride in cars, good with all the other dogs, and he’s really craving his own home/person. Rocco’s eyes stare into your soul and screams adopt me and I will be your furever love! https://fb.watch/eBSl8RXZ4P/

Gage
Gage is a handsome guy who came in pretty wild but has come a really long way. Gage LOVES attention from his humans, he actually is quite affectionate and the more attention he gets, the calmer he is. He loves to play with the other dogs, he loves empty water bottles, best toys ever in his opinion.
Gage is not an apartment or townhouse dog only because he does bark when he’s in his kennel. Used to bark when I put him in a crate but he sleeps quietly in one every night now. He only barks when in his kennel so I’m guessing if he was in a crate by himself alone he would, no way to simulate that at my house but that is what I’d think. Gage is quite the athlete so would make a great running/hiking/adventure partner.

Batman
Batman is a big, loveable, one eyed boy that so wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained and great in the house, he’s fine with all the other dogs , and there’s a lot of them, at times he does some resource guarding but it’s more an intimidation thing, he doesn’t actually hurt anyone. Any dog that can live here with such a big pack and be fine with all the dogs, that’s a special dog, and I feel that Batman is that, he just needs the right home. He is protective of his people inside his home as well, which isn’t a bad thing, just needs to be known and handled appropriately as far as introductions
